Boasting many excellent school, church and community choirs over the years, London Ontario is known for its rich choral music heritage. The London Singers are proud to carry this tradition forward into the 21st century.
The London Singers were founded in 2000 by musical director David Weaver. Our mission is to share the joy of choral music with younger generations in partnership with The Beal Singers of London’s H.B. Beal Secondary School.
Famous in the community for producing large-scale concerts, our massed choirs of more than 100 voices combine with professional orchestra and paid soloists to perform great music to the highest possible standards.
Our repertoire is grounded in the baroque tradition but we honour diversity with selections that range widely from modern pop to music from around the world. We rehearse once a week on Wednesday evenings at Beal in central London. Extra rehearsals are scheduled as major concerts approach.
Consider joining us. It’s always a pleasure to create beautiful music together!
